THE VISION
At the heart of our philosophy is the belief in creating a thoughtfully designed space that not only elevate the home but also honor the planet and the people who inhabit it. We achieve this by partnering with responsible brands and artists who share our commitment to sustainability and craftsmanship.
The brands we feature are selected to align with our core principles, ensuring that the pieces in our home contribute to a meaningful, ethical narrative. Staying close to these principles help us stay focused on supporting small businesses, championing women-owned brands, celebrating handmade craftsmanship, and prioritizing sustainability. Each element is thoughtfully sourced using the principles shown below, reflecting our dedication to conscious living.
Our home is a product of a collaborative process, where carefully chosen materials transform the space that evolves alongside us. This approach encourages us to simplify, slow down, and engage more deeply with our surroundings, cultivating an environment that is as intentional as it is beautiful.
Below are three principles that inspire us and guide our commitment to a more sustainable future—socially, economically, and environmentally. We hope these principles will spark new ways of thinking and inspire others to embrace a more conscious approach to design and living.
THE PRINCIPLES
01.
Uncover
Intentional design shifts the focus to not just what a product is made from, but how it is made. At The Giles 1880, we uncover the magic behind the craftsmanship, placing high value on sustainability and artistry.
.02
Expand
Intentional design invites us to expand on what we initially see, focusing on a product's deeper impact on our daily lives. The pieces in our home are crafted to offer more than beauty—they ground us, subtly influencing our emotions and energy in a fast-paced world.
With colors, shapes, and textures that echo nature’s rhythms, they create a serene space, a sanctuary from the noise and chaos of modern life.
.03
Support
Intentional design fosters inclusivity, supports women-owned businesses, and champions small enterprises. Our space is a commitment to sustainability, craftsmanship, and a living legacy that enriches communities. Engaging with it means actively supporting these values.
People we believe in, brands we love.

JENNY FO STUDIO
Sculpting is like a meditative journey for me. When I sink my hands into warmed clay, my mind quiets, and my soul finds its voice. I let my fingertips do the talking - pinching, pulling, smearing, and pressing, shaping the clay in a very instinctive way. Through this process, I bring to life physical expressions of the visions that resonate with who I am, and perhaps, who I've been.
