In 2025, Emily Thurman Studio launches Hundō, its debut collection, marking a pivotal moment in the studio’s journey. This inaugural collection embodies the studio’s commitment to timeless design and artistic exploration. Exhibited internationally, Hundō introduces a cohesive narrative through furniture and lighting that celebrates the beauty of natural form and materiality, offering a distinctive perspective on the studio’s evolving vision.

Various - Level 1 + 2

Alexis' workshop is located a stone's throw from the Brussels flea market, where he collects the wood he works with.

Each element is selected, taken from a table, a coat rack, a chest, it is a bowl, a curtain ring, a cupboard, as long as it is elegant and marked by time.

Artwork

Her keen eye for composition and work as a designer has served her art practice well, by seamlessly designing and executing large scale mural projects in both Los Angeles and New York City. Her paintings have been exhibited in galleries in multiple cities, as well as being included in numerous media publications such as Domino, Surface and Full Blede.

Sculptures

Sculpting is like a meditative journey for me. When I sink my hands into warmed clay, my mind quiets, and my soul finds its voice. I let my fingertips do the talking - pinching, pulling, smearing, and pressing, shaping the clay in a very instinctive way. Through this process, I bring to life physical expressions of the visions that resonate with who I am, and perhaps, who I've been.

Suga Pottery is a ceramics studio based out of the Catskill Mountains, NY, that focuses on high quality, teaware and tableware. Each piece is handbuilt to last, with love and care, by artist Ben Suga.

All work is designed and created in Brooklyn and upstate NY. We embrace a sustainable philosophy by creating what is needed and using salvaged materials whenever possible.

Sconces and vases

Each item is made in my studio in Bushwick, Brooklyn. The use of white glaze over terra-cotta in this collection is inspired by the painted mixed-media sculpture of Cy Twombly, who once remarked, “white is my marble.”
